RED HAT STORY
The Red Hat Thrift Store is a 503(c)(3) non-profit located at 1245 Commerce Avenue in Longview, Washington. Established in 2002, profits from the sales of gently used donations from the community help support the Emergency Support Shelter and Parents Place. Pouring the profits from the store into these two agencies accomplishes the goal of supporting children and families in our community. Net proceeds from the store has resulted in 2 million dollars distributed to the Emergency Support Shelter and Parents Place. Our second decade finds us in an up and coming destination for thrift, vintage, antiques, and retro shops sprouting up in downtown Longview.
Red Hat shoppers find a great variety of gently used clothes for the entire family. In addition to clothes, Red Hat also has home goods, house wares, furniture, books, jewelry, trinkets, etc. Red Hat staff and volunteers strive to make the shopping experience both fun and adventurous. Our generous donations contain treasures to find and bargains, bargains, bargains. Every day is a treasure hunt at the Red Hat.
If you are interested in being a volunteer, donating your gently used items please call us at 360 578- 1733. If you are downsizing or liquidating an estate, we can help.

DONATIONs
We are taking donations Monday thru Saturday 10-4. Come by any time during those hours. Donations are received at the Red Hat back door. The back door is marked by numerous metal signs and access is from the alleyway between Hudson and Hemlock Streets and is easy to use. Pull over, ring the doorbell and Red Hat staff and volunteers will quickly come out and help you unload your donation and get your tax receipt to you pronto! We do share the alley with our law enforcement friends, and other businesses. Therefore, please park along side the building as close as possible. Also, please do not leave anything outside without staff contact.
Donations from our community in both goods and volunteer time keep the Red Hat profits flowing to the Emergency Support Shelter and Parents Place. The children and families who depend on these agencies appreciate your donations of goods and time to the Red Hat.
The Red Hat is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 - 5:00
We accept gently used donations Monday through Saturday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm in the alley behind the store. It's well marked as the Red Hat. Just ring the bell and someone will be out to help unload your car and write you a tax receipt. Holidays may affect store hours and donation times.
Thanks for donating and shopping with us!
